Nervous system tools for parents (not just kids).
The tools I reach for when my own body is running on adrenaline and I still have to be the calm one in the room.

Supporting an anxious kid takes its own toll. I spent months focused entirely on my older daughter's regulation before I noticed my shoulders were up around my ears from the moment I woke up. These are the small, honest practices I've folded into my day, a few minutes of box breathing before school pickup, a walk without my phone, cold water on my wrists when I feel the edge coming. None of this is a cure. It's just what keeps my own system from tipping over, which turns out to be one of the most useful things I can do for the whole house.
