Things I've Tried, Things I'm Trying, and Things Worth Knowing About

None of these are magic. None of these replace a doctor. But all of them are worth understanding, because "alternative" doesn't mean "fringe", it often just means "not yet mainstream in a standard doctor's office." Here's a quick-hit guide to what's out there.

Also called applied kinesiology, muscle testing is a practice where a practitioner applies light pressure to a muscle (often your arm) while you hold a thought, food, or item, to see if the muscle "weakens." Practitioners use it as a feedback tool for sensitivities and stress responses. It's not accepted by mainstream medicine as a diagnostic tool, and it shouldn't replace real testing, but plenty of people (myself included) have found it an interesting, low-risk starting point for noticing patterns worth investigating further.

What I'm Currently Exploring

These are newer tools I'm personally curious about and testing, not settled recommendations. I'll share what I learn as I go.

Combining light exercise while breathing concentrated oxygen with a vibration platform, aimed at boosting circulation and cellular oxygenation.

These are tools, not prescriptions. What works for one nervous system might not work for another, that's exactly why it's worth having more than one tool in the box.

A note from Melissa

These are all tools in the toolbox. Healing takes time, but the more you know, the better off you are. There is no quick fix. Empower yourself.

Personal experience and research, not medical advice or guidance.
